We started class with vocabularies
about “Fashion”. The teacher let us write words on the whiteboard. Then, she gave us the sheet – “Fashion”. We did exercise about vocabulary. She let us
scan article “Fusion? Confusion!” without
dictionary and then find main idea each paragraph. She helped us correct main
idea sentences. Then, she let us exchange knowledge from article. I talk with
my partner about culture and adaption related to the article. The last, the
teacher let us do exercises about compression, grammar – used to and speaking. She gave assignment to write about fashion and
culture –
“I think there are many differences between culture – food,
traditions, rules and especially fashion. Westerners are always flexible. They can wear
casual suits with favorite hairstyles to study. On the other hand, Thai
students have to wear uniforms and cut their hair according to the rules of their
school. Moreover, I think western students may be surprised about Thai schedule
– full of academic hours. Westerners care for students. They have free time to
do their favorite activities in the afternoon such as baseball club their, chess
club, etc. So, western
students may be sleepy with academic hours from 8.00 a.m. To 4.00 p.m. in
Thailand.”.
