"Books and Novels"
This week was the 12th week already. We
started class with “midterm test” for 1 hour. Then, the teacher taught the new
lesson about the books, novels and parts of the book.
Into
the lesson, Books consist of author and title.
First of all,
The
teacher showed some her books and novels. Then, she introduced
her books and novels for begin the lesson. After that she assigned us to read
description on back cover.

Then, she gave us the handout of this lesson and assigned us to read descriptions of books and novels in sheet. I did practice in the sheet and discussed my opinion with partner. We asked the question about my favorite books and novels from the text.

the USA-Christopher Garwood, Guglielmo Gardani, and Edda Peris.
- Aung San Suu Kyi : The Voice of
Hope-Alan Clements.

like:
- The Lost World-Michael
Crichton.
- You Belong to Me-Mary
Higgins Clark.
- Message in a Bottle-Nicholas
Sparks.
- Sacrament-Clive Barker
Read
books and novels using by skimming and scanning skills then, answered the
questions.

Ans No, She didn't.

What are the four aspects of the UK and USA mentoined in the book Aspects at
the Britain and the USA?
Ans People, Geography, History and Institution.

Who won the 1991 Novel Peace Prize? For what aspect?
Ans Aung San Suu Kyi for her heroic efforts on behalf to
democracy in Burma.

Who is included in the book A Life for God The Mother teresa Treasury?
Ans A brief biography and a conversation with Mother Teresa.
The teacher taught us about the pronunciation and definition of some words. I noted and lectured it in the sheet everytime.
After
that, we started studied the new lesson about
"Ann Landers"

read and matched each letter to Ann Landers with its correct response. After that she taught us another topic that is about
Classic Ann Landers. She is the person who gives advice about general to
people. Finally, teacher assigned
us to read each letter and its response again and to do all exercises for discuss
in next week.
I felt worried to read many content of books and novels. However, I tried to read all content. I used skimming and scanning skills to read it. I thought my skimming and scanning skills must improve a little bit.
