Today, the teacher stared class with exercise solve the anagrams about hair vocabulary. 

Then she let us read texts. "Splitting hair" I read the text about hairstyle in 5 countries, 

found summary and shared with friends . Next, she taught about what kind of clothes the 

Americans wearing from Yumiko's opinion. Then We discussed together all the text with 

her.We did practices about grammar. I completed the sentences with used to and plus the 

verb in brackets. I used my skimming skill to did practices for today. We spoke our 

experiences from question together. Everyone had many experiences. I felt enjoyed 

everytime when I spoke with my friends.

    

Japan people disagree about dyed blonde hair.

Taiwan’s rules about student’s hair have changed.

The US students have conservative hairstyles.

Korea is a shaved head can be a form of protest.

The UK is a shared head is no big deal.

It was very different and I found new words in this text such as

Big deal = said when you do not think that what someone has said or done is important or

special

Rastafarian = a member of a religious group that began in Jamaica and worships 

Haile Selassie

After that, the teacher let us we made groups for talking about hairstyle with friends in group we discussed about hairstyle that we like and explained it to our friends. I like this exercise because it was easy and so fun for me.

Finally, the teacher assigned us to answer question "Your University has decided that all female students should have long hair and all male students should have crew cut"  Write to the student magazine with your opinion about this.

"I think that the new hair rules are bad idea.I think that they are bad because students should have their styles. I think that students can manage their hair.I also think the university shouldn't limit their students."

Exercises and vocabularies were easy but the summary of  texts was difficult for me in this week. I solve the problem with search the internet , used online dictionarys and more practice. I used scanning and skimming skills to comprehension and found main idea of each paragraphs. My attitude towards this week I enjoyed in this unite because I learned about the culture of each country which it  very interesting.
