
On Tuesday, 12 January, 2016 
We started class with discussing with partner about the lesson we studied last week in a minute. Then the teacher explained the text which was assigned to do as homework last week.
After that, she reviewed the content since last week about the RECOUNT including Text organisation and Language Features, In my opinion, I think that it is good that she explained the content to all of students before we started the lesson. Because it made us analyze the text as well.

Next, she taught new lesson "My Grandpa's Funeral in Toraja" She let us skim and scan the text without opening dictionary and discuss with partner in Thai.
Then, we studied the text about My Grandpa's Funeral in Toraja we read the text, filled the blank with Text organization and used Language features each of text organization.
When I read the text completely, I analysed the text, filled the blank with text organization and used Language features respectively. This text is difficult a little bit because of its vocabularies. Then, I answered the questions that follow of this text.
From this text, My Grandpa's Funeral in Toraja, I concluded how to organize the funeral of Indonesia. They are as follow :
The grandpa's coffin wad lowered from the funeral tower and brought up to the mountain side family graveyard
Then, we studied about An Excursion to the Botanic Gardens and answered the questions. When we had already finished these matters, our teacher asked us that how recount helps you to understand the text. I also listed the benefits of recount that are as follow :

Next, we started to learn new type of recount that is Factual Recount. Actually, Factual Recount is recording the particulars of an incident (e.g. report of a science,experiment, police report, news report, news report, historical account) and today we started to learn about the Police Report.
Before this lesson was started, She asked some volunteers to write the words associated with the Police Report on the whiteboard.

After that, we studied about Five Vietnamese nationals were arrested for stealing cash from crowded shops in popular tourists areas in Chiang Mai's Muang district.I used the strategies that I got from last subject,English Reading Strategies, since last semester in reading that are looking the lead of news first and then, reading the body details of news subsequently.
From this news, I also knew that Five Vietnamese were arrested as a result of stealing cash in Chiang Mai. One of them is 23-year-old woman and the others are four men aged 18-44.
Then, we filled the blank with text organization, found the language features of this news in order to know the sequence of event and answered the questions
When we read, filled the blank and answered the questions completely, the teacher gave one question that asks the opinion of this incident and she also assigned us to answer this question in weblog too.
At my point of view, It is surprising that Vietnamese people came to rob in Thailand because they are Asian and Thailand and Vietnam are one of Asian too. This news makes me scared about the robbery from Asian people and Thai people should aware of this incident either.
Later, we studied about Investigation report. It is about the couple consists of an old woman and a boy in their lorry were stopped when they were driving too fast. The police tried to investigate them by requiring license card but she described it with a trace of irony as being a "piece of paper with your picture on." After that, they were being taken to the police station, the woman started up the vehicle and drove away. The police raced after her on his motorcycle, unfortunately, he ended up in a muddy ditch which allowed the couple to escape.
Next, the teacher assigned us to answer the questions, find news in order to share with partner every week and need to write on weblog subsequently.
In my opinion, the Language Feature is a key to easily understand the sequence of events such as "What", "When", "Where", "Who", linking items to do with time, action verbs etc.
The problem that I found in this learning was practiced write a recount because using correct grammar and various vocabulary. And Today, I learn the new lesson. So I still had problem about referent words because I didn't exactly as much as understand the text.
Nevertheless, the teacher suggested us we do more exercises and train how to analyze text. I though this lesson was harder and harder so I had to try hard to accomplish.
